Description - Bed and breakfast

The original shool house of Zoar was built in 1836. Once a one story school house, the structure was turnrd into a residence when a newer school was built in 1868.

Four private bedrooms with bath ensuite have been decorated the ultimate in sheer pleasure and comfort.
Innkeepers Joe and Gayle invite you to stay at The School House B&B where you're invited to step back in time
to enjoy charm of the historic village of Zoar. Warm hospitality awaits you.

Privacy and luxury are standard in each of our four spacious bedroom suites.
Each is air-conditioned with ceiling fans. Featuring deep and comfortable bed (or beds), sitting area,
bath ensuite (most with Jacuzzi tubs and romantic fireplaces).

Large windows in each of the rooms provide a view of the grounds, providing brightness and comfort
to your stay. Other amenities include, complimentary bottled water, cozy personal robes, candles, bath salts,
clock, T. V. with cable service and DVD Player.

Furnished and decorated with distinction our private bedroom suites are designed to be your ‘home away from home’.
And, to help you ‘stay in touch’ we offer secured wireless Internet throughout the Inn.

Special weekends in Zoar include The Harvest Fest, Civil War Reenactment, Octoberfest, Ghosts of Zoar Dinners, Murder Mystery Dinners and Christmas in Zoar, or take a Lantern Tour with the Ghosts of Zoar. During the month of October we have specials that include the Lantern Tour. The canoe livery is a few short minutes from our Inn and you can also tour the towpath along the Tuscarawas River by foot or on bikes. There's much more our Historical Village has to offer.

Joe and Gayle Potelicki both have worked in the medical field for most of our adult lives and now are looking forward to meeting new friends and providing a hospitable experience in a historic setting that provides opportunities for the adventurous to take a step back in time. The Loft A Queen-size 4 poster rice bed under a luxurious bedding sets the tone for a romantic getaway. This room, offers a comfortable sitting area for reading, beside the fireplace enjoy your wine and cheese at the table; television and DVD player. Lea's Suite This splendidly appointed room provides the ultimate hideaway! How to get there

From the airport Cleveland Hopkins, Head South on Riverside Dr, and turn left on IX Center Dr. Take the ramp onto OH-237 (Berea Fwy) Exit Snow Rd. and turn right (east) onto Snow Rd for about a mile, and merge onto I-71 S (to Columbus). Exit I-80 E (exit 223) toward Youngstown. From I-80, head south onto OH-8 (Exit 180), which becomes I-77 S after about 15 miles. Take I-77 S to exit 93 (Bolivar/Zoar), and turn East onto Route 212 East. Continue for 3 miles to Zoar Village. We are on Third Street.
